It all started with my grandfather and I making marinated sun-dried tomatoes in his basement in New York when I was just a kid. It was an age-old recipe handed down through my family’s generations. I had always dreamed of one day jarring and selling the tomatoes because I knew the recipe was something special.

When I started working at the Cheese Store of Beverly Hills in 2001, I immediately seized the opportunity to make the tomatoes on my own and sell them at the shop. My dream had come true as they were an immediate hit with customers. From there, Domenico’s Foods (named after my grandfather) was born and the product line grew, adding stuffed peppers, pestos, tapenades, sauces, lasagna, eggplant parmigiana, and fresh pasta. 

We now sell our products to premier restaurants and hotels in Los Angeles. You can also find us at various Farmers Markets and retail shops in the Los Angeles area. I personally visit Italy often to find small producers who make exceptional products not widely available in the United States. These imported products are available for purchase right here on our website.
